The Lunar Cycle Candle honors the Moon in her complete rhythm—from darkness into fullness and back again.

The artwork follows the eight principal lunar phases: New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, and Waning Crescent, before returning once again to the New Moon. Rather than presenting one lunar phase as more powerful than another, the design recognizes each as part of an uninterrupted cycle of becoming, culmination, release, and renewal.

The New Moon marks beginnings, inward reflection, and the planting of intention. As the Moon waxes, its growing light can represent development, attraction, movement, and building. The Full Moon stands at the center as the point of greatest visible illumination—a traditional time for culmination, revelation, and bringing matters into fullness.

As the Moon wanes, the current shifts toward release, clearing, reflection, and completion. The final crescent returns to darkness, where one cycle closes and another quietly begins.

This candle may be incorporated into lunar practices throughout the month rather than being limited to a single phase. It can serve as a visual focal point for intention setting, manifestation work, meditation, divination, cleansing, releasing, gratitude, spiritual reflection, and personal ritual.

Everything has its season. Everything has its phase. What disappears into darkness is not necessarily gone—it may simply be preparing to begin again.
