At the center stands the timeless figure of Justice—blindfolded, holding the scales in one hand and the sword in the other. Her blindfold represents impartiality: judgment based upon truth rather than appearances, influence, or emotion. The scales symbolize balance and the weighing of circumstances, while the sword represents discernment, authority, and the power to cut through deception.

Surrounding celestial and protective symbolism reinforces the candle’s intention of bringing hidden matters into the light and calling for circumstances to be weighed according to truth.
